About the Role

As AI Product Lead, you will shape and implement the AI product strategy, governance and roadmap for Sizewell C. This is a unique opportunity to establish how AI is adopted, governed, and scaled across a nationally significant programme. You will own the end-to-end AI product portfolio, from opportunity discovery and business case development through to governance, adoption and value realisation. You will ensure AI products are aligned to business priorities, deliver measurable outcomes, and meet the highest standards for security, transparency, safety, and compliance. Working in partnership with the AI Engineering Lead, you will shape an outcome-driven AI roadmap, prioritise investment, oversee AI governance, and help establish AI as a strategic capability across Sizewell C.

We’re looking for an experienced product leader with a strong understanding of AI technologies and a track record of delivering AI-enabled products in complex organisations.

About You

  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, products and market developments, with the ability to apply them to complex business problems.
  • Experience leading AI, digital or data products in complex organisations, from opportunity assessment through to operational adoption and value realisation.
  • Experience establishing governance, controls and assurance processes for digital, data or AI products in regulated or risk-sensitive environments.
  • Experience evaluating software vendors and third-party technology products, including commercial, governance and risk considerations.
  • Ability to work effectively with AI engineering and delivery teams, with sufficient technical understanding to challenge, prioritise and guide product decisions.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI, model assurance, adoption, product performance management and lifecycle governance.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft AI ecosystem and broader enterprise AI tooling landscape would be advantageous.

Behavioural Competences

  • Humility – Recognise the value brought from different cultures and experiences; be open to others’ points of view and ideas, be willing to debate and to compromise.
  • Positivity – Positively challenge poor quality and performance; identify solutions at the lowest possible level; encourage Tier 1s and others to bring new ideas forward.
  • Respect – Value the rules and environment in which we operate; give and receive feedback with respect; embrace and engage with new people and ideas.
  • One Team – Working closely together and helping each other; empowered teams always looking forward; shared responsibility for delivery of the project outcomes.
  • Clarity – Communicate clearly and consistently; promote collaboration and team alignment; clearer and faster decision making; drive simplification at all levels.
