Job Responsibilities

  • Answer, log, and resolve all inbound enquiries promptly and professionally, introducing new or improved services to customers where appropriate and ensuring all communications reach a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Monitor and order office supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Coordinate communication between departments and external subcontractors to support smooth operations.
  • Manage calendars and travel arrangements for staff members efficiently.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Basic IT proficiency and knowledge (Microsoft Office, email systems, data entry).
  • Basic knowledge of transport.
  • Proficiency in a customer service environment across face‑to‑face, phone, and email channels.
  • Accurate data entry and use of the operational systems.
  • Knowledge of data accuracy, record keeping, and confidentiality requirements.
  • A strong awareness of Health and Safety, security, and compliance within a safety critical environment with the ability to effectively communicate service changes and updates.

Experience

  • Background in transport and logistics.
  • Knowledge of Management Systems, travel, or park & ride operations.
  • Familiarity with reporting, data monitoring, client‑facing summaries or delivering inductions/onboarding sessions.
  • Experience working with a large infrastructure, construction, or regulated project with a strong understanding of management systems, helpdesk tools and transport scheduling systems.
