Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in piping, major infrastructure and highly regulated environments?
Do you want to help shape the delivery strategy of one of the UK's most significant nuclear projects?
We are working with The SZC MEH Alliance are seeking a Piping Project Manager to support the development of the piping scope for the Sizewell C project during the critical Phase 1 development period.
Based in Bristol (Aztec West) with hybrid working of approximately 1-2 days per week, you'll play a pivotal role in defining delivery strategies, project execution plans and the adoption of innovative construction methods.

- Lead the development of effective strategies and delivery plans for the SZC MEH piping scope.
- Develop and optimise project execution plans, schedules and estimates.
- Drive the adoption of modern methods of construction and off-site fabrication solutions.
- Support the integration of lessons learned from major nuclear and infrastructure projects.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team while working closely with senior leadership.
- Operate effectively within a complex matrix organisation involving multiple stakeholders and delivery partners.
- Influence key stakeholders across disciplines to achieve project objectives.
- Contribute to the wider strategy and output of the SZC MEH Alliance team
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven track record of delivery within a high-hazard, highly regulated environment.
- Experience managing and coordinating major EPC contractors.
- Experience interfacing with multiple suppliers, stakeholders and technical disciplines.
- Strong experience developing strategies that support HSE risk reduction, schedule optimisation and cost efficiency.
- Knowledge of project risk management and mitigation planning.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Commitment to health, safety and environmental excellence
- Able to obtain a security clearance
Desirable
- Experience within the nuclear sector.
- Knowledge of EPR projects and major infrastructure delivery.
- Demonstrable application of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
- Awareness of emerging technologies and innovations within construction and engineering
