Are you an experienced Temporary Works professional looking to play a key role on one of the UK's largest and most ambitious infrastructure projects? Sizewell C is seeking a Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) to join our growing Temporary Works team, supporting the safe planning, coordination, and delivery of temporary works across a complex nuclear construction programme. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant project while developing your career within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working closely with the Principal Contractor's Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC), you will help ensure temporary works are planned, designed, reviewed and implemented safely and effectively across your assigned area.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Acting as Temporary Works Supervisor in accordance with BS5975
    • Supporting the review and acceptance of temporary works design package
    • Coordinating with contractors, designers and site delivery teams
    • Managing temporary works look-ahead programmes and design approvals
    • Supporting temporary works assurance, governance and compliance activities
    • Contributing to risk management, health and safety by design, and continuous improvement initiatives
    • Supporting procurement and delivery of temporary works solutions
    • Building strong relationships across multiple contractors and project stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • You’ll bring a solid understanding of temporary works management and experience gained within major civil engineering, infrastructure, energy, rail, highways, marine or nuclear projects.
  • Level 3 Diploma, HND, Foundation Degree in a relevant engineering / construction discipline
  • Valid CITB Temporary Works Supervisor certification
  • Experience acting as a Temporary Works Supervisor
  • CSCS Manager or Professional card
  • Experience working on complex civil engineering projects involving temporary works
  • Experience undertaking quality inspections on site
  • Strong understanding of BS5975 and temporary works procedures
  • Experience coordinating contractors, designers and site teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Extensive experience acting as a Temporary Works Supervisor
  • Nuclear or major infrastructure project experience in an engineering role
  • ICE membership or working towards professional accreditation
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts, BIM and digital engineering tools
