A fantastic, high-performing Primary School in Lambeth is searching for a Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2026. This is the perfect opportunity for a graduate looking to gain invaluable classroom experience before progressing onto teacher training.

This Teaching Assistant role will see you supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working closely with experienced teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted interventions and help children reach their full potential. You will also support pupils with a range of learning needs, including some children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), making this an excellent opportunity to build a broad skillset within primary education.

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Person Specification

  • Must hold a 1st Class or 2:1 degree from a reputable university
  • Strong academic background throughout education
  • Aspiring Primary Teacher with a genuine passion for education
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work or SEN)
  • Confident, enthusiastic and resilient personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, engaging and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
