An outstanding secondary school is looking to appoint a Social Sciences Teacher who can teach KS4 & KS5, with Psychology & Sociology as the priority subjects. There is the option to include other subjects and a mixed timetable if you wish.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Social Sciences, with priority on Psychology and Sociology, to KS3–KS5.
  • Possibility to teach additional subjects such as Humanities (History or Geography), RE, and PSHE as part of a mixed timetable.
  • Take on responsibilities that may include KS4 or KS5 coordination or pastoral duties for experienced teachers.
  • Support a positive learning environment and inspire students.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Must have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be in the process of gaining it.
  • Strong academic record across degree, A Levels, and GCSEs.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet the 8 Teaching Standards at a Good or Outstanding level.
  • Willingness to listen to feedback.
