Overview
Psychology Placement Opportunity for a Psychology student or graduate in Greenwich. A Primary School seeks a graduate/Psychology Student with strong academics and a passion for working with children with SEND/SEMH to join their dedicated team. This placement can support development in educational therapy, mental health, support work, teaching and more. The school has placed multiple graduates who have gone on to become Educational Psychologists.
Location & Schedule
Based in Greenwich. Full academic year starting September 2025. Monday–Friday (term time only). Long-Term, Full-Time; no weekends. Salary: £105–£115 daily rate.
Responsibilities
- Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
- Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
- Working closely with 2 children who are non-verbal
- Supporting pupils in and out of lessons
- Monitoring and recording interventions
Ideal Candidate
- Hardworking graduate/Student with strong academics and a passion for learning
- Previous experience with children and SEN/SEMH needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with Non-Verbal children
- Previous experience working 1:1
- Someone resilient and able to overcome challenges
