Job Description

You will work across your desired subject specialism, carrying out 1:1 and group interventions with a focus on raising attainment. The Head Teacher seeks academically talented graduates in the following subjects: English Teaching Assistant (x2), Maths Teaching Assistant (x2), Science Teaching Assistant (x3) and Learning Support Assistants (x3 – ideal for Psychology graduates). The role includes enrolment onto a Salaried Schools Direct opportunity and participation in the aspiring Secondary Teacher Program.

Responsibilities

  • Work across Key Stage 4–5, focusing on raising attainment.
  • Carry out 1:1 and group interventions.
  • Implement GCSE and A Level interventions.
  • Enrol onto and progress through the Schools Direct aspiring Secondary Teacher Program.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant subject from a reputable university.
  • A good standard of A Levels and GCSEs across the board.
  • Confidence in knowledge of the GCSE and A Level curriculum.
