An Outstanding Secondary School in Merton is seeking an English Teaching Assistant and aspiring English Teacher who they can train throughout the year as a Teaching Assistant, working specifically within KS3, KS4 and KS5 English lessons, as well as supporting students with SEN in their English studies.
You will work closely with pupils both in class on a 1:1 and group level, as well as outside of the classroom providing group interventions. Our school is in the top 1% in the UK for Progress 8 and also in the top 1% for English results at GCSE & A Level. We are committed to ensuring all students receive a high-quality education and provide additional support for those who need it, whether that means helping a student reach a C or pushing a high‑achieving student to an A*.
