An inclusive and well-regarded Primary School in Hillingdon with an Outstanding Ofsted rating is seeking a dedicated Reception / EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to provide constant support for a non‑verbal pupil with ASD, on a full‑time, long‑term basis starting in September 2026.
Working within the Reception class, the Reception / EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant will be one of two adults supporting a non‑verbal pupil with ASD who currently follows a part‑time timetable. During this time, you will help implement structured communication strategies, support engagement in learning, and promote emotional regulation. For the remainder of the day, you will deliver targeted interventions and provide additional SEND support across EYFS and Year 1.
The perfect Reception / EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant will have strong experience supporting non‑verbal children with ASD and a solid understanding of early years development. You will be patient, nurturing, and confident implementing communication strategies such as visual supports, structured routines, and personalised interventions.
