Learning Support Assistant

An ambitious, high performing secondary school in the heart of Lambeth are on the hunt for dedicated graduate to take on their Learning Support Assistant position and support students across KS3 and KS4.

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be working with a range of pupils particularly those with ASD, ADHD and Dyslexia.

A Learning Support Assistant role is the perfect springboard ahead of a career in teaching, therapy, counselling or psychology.

You will be working within a team of Learning Support Assistants supporting in the classroom as well as being responsible for running intervention groups and supporting students taking Mock exams and GSCEs.

  • Day to Day - Learning Support Assistant
  • Supporting KS3 and KS4 classrooms alongside the class teacher
  • Supporting children both with and without SEN at all different academic levels and abilities.
  • Running Intervention groups for KS3 and KS4.
  • Supporting 1:1 and in small groups
  • Supporting and monitoring student’s progress and reporting this back to the class teachers and SENDCO.
  • Bright Graduate with a 1 st or 2:1
  • Good A’ levels and GCSEs across the board.
  • Reliable, relatable and personable.
  • Passionate about working with children and making a positive impact.
