At EdEx we are working with a fantastic Primary School based in Brent who are looking for Creative Graduates – Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join their team for an ASAP start. The school is keen for Creative Graduates – Unqualified Teaching Assistants to come in and use their lateral thinking to encourage students within their learning process using creative outlets such as music, art, drama etc. This is a full time position starting ASAP for the remainder of the academic year as a minimum.

As a Creative Graduates – Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to the classroom teacher, preparing materials for classes, maintaining a safe classroom, and promoting a fun environment for the pupils to learn within.

Job Description:

  • Fulfilling Teaching Assistant duties across all year groups (EYFS/KS1/KS2)
  • Holding 1:1 and group interventions for core subjects (English & Mathematics)
  • Providing additional support for SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia etc)
  • Full academic year – Full time – Term time only
  • ASAP start.
  • Based in Brent
  • Modern and creative ethos

Ideal Applicant:

  • Have a drive and passion for working in education
  • Have a creative and innovative thinking pattern that is adaptable to the pupil's needs
  • Previous experience working with children
  • SEN experience/knowledge is desirable but not necessary
