We are seeking a Lead Practitioner of Chemistry to join our “Outstanding” Secondary School in Southwark for a September 2026 start. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  • Raising attainment and quality of learning across KS3 and KS4; KS5 is an optional additional option.
  • Working alongside a very strong Head of Department.
  • Leading from the front and demonstrating passion and enthusiasm for Chemistry.
  • Entering the role with the freedom to make changes where needed, supported by the Senior Leadership Team.

Employment Details:

  • September 2026 start date.
  • Permanent and full-time.
  • Inner London, located in the Borough of Southwark.

Qualifications:

  • Must have high standards for yourself and colleagues.
  • Proven record of outstanding teaching.
  • Real passion for Chemistry.
