The school is keen to find a DT Teacher that can confidently lead and teach Product Design in KS3, KS4 and KS5. Ideally, you will be an experienced DT Teacher with at least 3 years of experience and a consistent work history rather than supply teaching. We are looking for a Head of DT who has a resistant materials specialism and will add to this already thriving dynamic.
Responsibilities:
- Sound knowledge of resistant materials (woodwork, metal work etc).
- Teaching KS3, KS4 & KS5 Design Technology + leading and teaching Resistant Materials.
- Support the Department and respond to curriculum changes.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a DT Teacher.
- Strong knowledge of resistant materials.
- Teaching KS3, KS4 & KS5 Design Technology.
- Professional qualifications: PGCE, or equivalent, preferred.
