A brand new, independent SEN School in the Borough of Hillingdon is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students on a full-time, permanent basis. This position commences ASAP.

This fantastic provision offers a child-centred approach for pupils aged 5-11 years with ASD and SLD. The curriculum is specifically designed to equip students with the skills needed for adult life, adopting a holistic understanding of development.

Within the HLTA position, you will be responsible for directing the classroom, covering classes in a wide range of subjects for PPA, and require strong behaviour management skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your experience and assist the social, emotional, and academic development of children.

  • Permanent, Full-Time contract starting ASAP
  • Working closely with Class Teachers to plan and deliver differentiated lessons on the Equals Curriculum
  • Supporting students with SEND (ASD and SLD) daily
  • Covering lessons in the absence of Class Teacher in a range of subjects
  • Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
  • £27,000 per annum
  • Based in the Borough of Hillingdon
