Are you an experienced Religious Education Teacher or Head of Religious Education searching for a welcoming, high-performing secondary school in September? An Outstanding school in the Borough of Hackney is searching for a Head of RE / RE Teacher to join their team. This medium-sized non-secular school offers a broad, modern RE curriculum that encompasses multiple faiths, philosophies and ethics.

The current Head of RE is an Assistant Principal moving into a Vice Principal role at the end of the year; however, the department is in good shape and has popular uptake at KS5. You will be one of two RE Specialists in the department, as well as working alongside other Humanities Teachers who teach RE at KS3 level.

As the Head of Religious Education, you will benefit from a reduced teaching timetable to manage the workload and will have the opportunity to complete an NPQSL or NPQLBC if you so wish.
