You will be supporting classes across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and running small intervention groups similar to tutoring, plus some 1:1 support with students. This is a full-time position, term time only, contracted until the end of this academic year. Candidates interested in becoming fully qualified teachers have the opportunity to return in September 2026 as a Trainee Maths Teacher, receiving a higher salary or a tax-free bursary of £29,000 while gaining Qualified Teacher Status.

Job Description:

  • Teaching small groups maths interventions
  • Receiving support and training throughout

Person Specification:

  • 1st Class or 2:1 degree in a maths-related subject from a reputable university
