EdEx are working with an outstanding Secondary School / Sixth Form in the Borough of Haringey who are looking to appoint an Exams Assistant / Exams Officer for a September 2026 start. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with direct exams experience who is looking to step into a long-term, permanent role with clear progression.
You will initially support the exams department as an Exams Assistant for the first few months, before moving into an Exams Officer / Exams Manager role as responsibilities increase. This role is full time, permanent and offers a starting salary of £31,000, with the salary increasing as the role develops. Direct exams experience is essential. Candidates with only general administration experience will not be suitable.

The successful candidate will support the exams department with the smooth running of internal and external examinations. Your role will include:
- Supporting exam entries, amendments and withdrawals
- Preparing exam timetables, seating plans and candidate information
- Liaising with exam boards, staff, students and invigilators
- Supporting access arrangements
- Maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation
- Assisting with mock exams and public exams
- Supporting results days and post-results services
