An excellent mainstream secondary school in Ealing is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This role would fit perfectly for a psychology graduate who is looking for firsthand experience working with Special Educational Needs as well as the opportunity to work within education.
You will gain exposure to working alongside external professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Assistant Psychologists, as well as working with the school's SENCO. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children with SEN/Additional Needs on a 1:1 basis.
The school is dedicated to ensuring inclusivity for all students. You will mostly be in mainstream classrooms supporting students, but there will be requirements to provide pastoral mentoring to students outside of lessons to ensure they remain happy and ready to learn.
