We are looking for an English Teacher with Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) to start September 2026 at our Outstanding Secondary School in Ealing. This permanent, full‑time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding English department, work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, and help shape innovative teaching practices.
Responsibilities
- Inspire and motivate the younger generation
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated teachers
- Take on Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) roles such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility, 2iC, or Head of Department
- Support Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with 1:1 mentoring, bespoke induction, and in‑house training
- Teach September 2026 – full time and permanent
- Work within the Borough of Ealing
Qualifications
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in process of gaining QTS
- Strong academic background – Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
- Demonstrated ability to meet the eight Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
- Experience or willingness to take on TLR duties
- Ability to work effectively as part of a large teaching team
- Openness to listening to feedback and continuous professional development
