As a STEM Academic Mentor, you will work closely with students across KS3 and KS4, supporting them both inside and outside of the classroom. This role would be ideal for an aspiring Teacher, Educational Psychologist or graduate passionate about supporting young people and raising attainment within STEM subjects.
Job Description:
- Supporting students across KS3 & KS4
- Delivering 1:1 and small group STEM interventions
- Supporting attainment across Maths, Science and related subjects
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and learning resources
- Working with students of varying abilities, including those requiring additional academic support
- Promoting engagement, confidence and academic progress

Person Specification:
- Must hold a 1st Class or 2:1 degree in a Science-related subject from a reputable university
- Strong academic background throughout education
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable
