At EdEx, we are working with a fantastic Primary School based in Tower Hamlets who are looking for Creative Graduates – Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2026. The school is keen for Creative Graduates – Unqualified Teaching Assistants to use their lateral thinking, creativity and confidence to encourage pupils within their learning process through creative outlets such as music, art, drama, dance, performance and imaginative play.
This is a full‑time position starting in September 2026 for the full academic year. As a Creative Graduate – Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to the classroom teacher, prepare learning materials, support pupils across the primary curriculum, maintain a safe and positive classroom environment, and promote a fun, inclusive and engaging atmosphere for pupils to learn within.
- Holding 1:1 and group interventions for core subjects, including English & Mathematics
- Providing additional support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Speech & Language needs
- Using creativity, imagination and enthusiasm to support pupil engagement
- Supporting pupils with confidence, communication, social skills and emotional development
Full academic year – Full time – Term time only September 2026 start. Ideal Applicant:
- Have a drive and passion for working in education
- Have a creative and innovative approach that is adaptable to pupils’ individual needs
- Previous experience working with children

- Hold a creative degree, such as Music, Art, Drama, Dance, Performing Arts or a related subject
- Confident, enthusiastic and able to build strong relationships with pupils
- Patient, nurturing and resilient in the classroom
