Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a school environment? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team in a long-term role starting in September 2026.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across the school who require additional help with their learning, communication and social development. This will include 1:1 support for pupils with Autism (ASD) and communication needs, as well as delivering targeted interventions within EYFS and Key Stage 1.
The SEN Teaching Assistant role is varied and rewarding, giving you the opportunity to work closely with teachers, the SENCO and other support staff to help create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed.
This SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity would be ideal for someone with experience supporting SEN, early years development or behavioural needs, who is patient, adaptable and genuinely passionate about working with children.

Experience supporting children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language or behavioural needs) is highly desirable. A background in EYFS, childcare, education or support work is also beneficial. A calm, patient and nurturing approach is essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with children and staff. A flexible and proactive attitude in a varied school environment is important, as is a passion for helping children reach their full potential.
