This STEM Graduate opportunity is being offered as a “Earn, while you teach & learn” route – which in turn is a Salaried Schools Direct scheme.
- Paid position on the Unqualified Teacher (UQT) scale (most commonly UQ1)
- Employed directly by a school from day one
- Higher initial teaching load, typically around 15 periods per week
- Teaching load gradually increases to approximately 20 periods per week
- One dedicated training day per week
- Opportunity to gain QTS with PGCE (optional opt-out available if required)
