Fantastic Secondary School in Hammersmith seeks an Aspiring Maths Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is a full time post. This Aspiring Maths Teacher Program is offered as a “Earn, while you teach & learn” route – a Salaried Schools Direct scheme.

  • Paid position on the Unqualified Teacher (UQT) scale (most commonly UQ1)
  • Employed directly by a school from day one
  • Higher initial teaching load, typically around 15 periods per week
  • Teaching load gradually increases to approximately 20 periods per week
  • One dedicated training day per week
  • Opportunity to gain QTS with PGCE (optional opt-out available if required)
  • Working at one school throughout – avoiding any conflict in different teaching styles (in turn reducing stress on teacher)

You will be working teaching across the Maths Department, supporting KS3-4 lessons, while focusing on attainment and the quality of learning.
