1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Job Description
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support and learning strategies.
- Adapt activities and provide appropriate resources to meet the pupil’s individual needs and abilities.
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
- Provide support with classroom activities, interventions, and small-group work where required.
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures to ensure the wellbeing and safety of pupils.
- Starting ASAP
- Full-time, term-time only.
