Are you a Maths graduate looking to gain teaching experience and have your teacher training funded? If so, a fantastic school in the heart of Southwark is on the hunt for bright Maths graduates to join their team from November. This is an unqualified Maths teacher role starting in November on a permanent basis.
This school is one of the highest achieving schools in the UK, consistently achieving A*-A's across both GCSE and A-Level. They are looking for a strong Unqualified Maths Teacher to join them ASAP to teach across both GCSE and A-Level with the view to undertake Teacher Training with the school in 2026.
The school would look to take on a graduate of Maths in the unqualified Maths teacher role for at least one year before enrolling you on their bespoke teacher training programme in September 2026. The school is keen to completely fund your teacher training as well as paying on the unqualified teacher payscale while you train.
You would be teaching on a reduced timetable for a teacher with classes in KS3 and KS4, most likely Year 7 - Year 10 for your first year. As you progress through the school, you will slowly take on more exam classes in Year 11. A-Level teaching is a must in this role, so you must feel confident in your Maths subject knowledge.
The Job Description:- Starting November 2025
- £28,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Permanent - Monday to Friday - Full Time
- Teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 Maths
- Marking and tracking progress
- Supporting the wider Maths department
- Receive fully funded teacher training from September 2026 if successful in applying
