, all offering a
Train to Teach
route from
September 2025
. These are
long-term academic mentor positions
, paid on a daily rate, with a clear pathway into salaried teacher training the following academic year.

What will this Train to Teach position involve?

• Working with students across KS3-4
• Supporting learning in your subject specialism (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or more)
• 1:1 and group interventions
• Leading small classes under supervision as an unqualified teacher
• Full support and mentorship throughout the year
• Guaranteed route into teacher training from September 2026

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Academic Mentor role – supporting KS3-4 students in your subject
• Team teaching and gradually taking on more classroom responsibility
• Daily rate of £110 – £120 per day (term time only)
• September 2025 Start – Full Time (Mon-Fri)
• 1-year placement leading to salaried teacher training in 2026
• Based across multiple schools in
  East London

ABOUT YOU

• A degree in a relevant subject area (any subject welcome to apply)
• A genuine ambition to become a Secondary Teacher
• A confident and proactive personality
• Some experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Committed to a long-term career in education
