An "Outstanding" Ofsted graded Primary School in the heart of Islington is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a September 2026 start. This is a full time, and long‑term post. The Primary School has a creative and warm ethos throughout the whole School, with all staff members working together to support every individual child effectively.

The Head Teacher has recently offered two previous Teaching Assistants the opportunity to enrol onto their very own 'Schools Direct Scheme'. This is a fantastic opportunity for any aspiring Primary Teachers looking for an on‑the‑job way to achieve their QTS.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Working within KS1 or KS2 (5‑11‑year olds)
  • Supporting the children on a 1:1 or group basis
  • Schools Direct opportunity on offer
  • September 2026 start – Full Time & Long‑Term
  • Located in the Borough of Islington – East London

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must be an aspiring Primary Teacher looking to enrol onto a PGCE or Schools Direct
  • Good understanding of basic SEN
  • Must be an outgoing and creative individual – using your own initiative
  • Understanding of the Primary curriculum
