A Secondary School in Brent is searching for a Study Assistant / Academic Tutor to join the team for an ASAP start. This is a full-time position, supporting students to learn in an independent working environment.

Your job as a Study Assistant will support students aged 11-19 in accessing a range of learning resources and information to aid their studies.

Suitable candidates for this position will come with a strong academic background, ideally educated to undergraduate level at a minimum. You will have a passion for education, learning, and high achievement.

Full Details of this position:

  • £110-120 per day!
  • Full-time (term-time only) - Permanent contract directly employed by the school
  • High-achieving Secondary School
  • Located in the London Borough of Brent
  • Play a leading role in working alongside the families of identified students to support their progress and attainment
  • Supervise and provide support for students, including those with identified needs, either in literacy or for other subjects
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes
  • Establish constructive relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
  • Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence
