Science Teacher - January Start - Permanent - Newham. An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in the Borough of Newham seeks a Science Teacher to join their thriving department from January 2026. This is a full-time and permanent position, offering MPS2-MPS5, with potential TLRs available for the right candidate. The Science Department supports KS3, KS4, and KS5 and benefits from a mix of experienced and early-career teachers with Graduate Teaching Assistants supporting attainment across year groups.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Must have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be in the process of gaining it
  • Strong academic background – Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
  • Confident classroom practitioner with evidence of Good or Outstanding teaching
  • Passionate about Science education and committed to student progress
  • Positive team player who welcomes feedback and collaboration
