A "Good" Primary School located in the Borough of Tower Hamlets is on the hunt for a Primary SEN Teacher. This is a September 2026 role, full time and employed directly through the school.

The role of a Primary SEN Teacher will include:

  • Teaching in an ARP with 6 children (children are non-verbal / ASD)
  • Working & leading an experienced & strong HLTA
  • Supporting EHCP applications - writing & carrying out assessments
  • Initially working within the Primary School with a view to long-term venturing over to their Nursery School and providing additional SEN support & leadership

This is the perfect opportunity for a Primary Teacher who has a real passion and understanding of SEN. This is also a great stepping stone for an aspiring SENCO with huge opportunities to progress throughout.

  • MPS1 - MPS6 + SEN Point

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must be confident in working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of SEN is required
  • QTS is required
  • Must be able to plan & teach engaging lessons for SEN pupils
  • Carry out data / admin tasks to a high level
  • Must be able to work within a large team
