In the heart of Havering / Romford, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is seeking a Religious Education Teacher (RE) for a September 2026 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract.
The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Religious Education Teacher (RE) who is keen to add value to an expanding Religious Education Department. The School is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.
The School is well invested in the Education sector, setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the School!
Experienced Religious Education Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility, and more. Newly Qualified Religious Education Teachers will be enrolled onto the School's bespoke ECT induction and will work alongside a range of young and experienced Religious Education Teachers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
- Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
- Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
- You must be able to work as part of a large team of Religious Education (RE) Teachers
- Must be willing to listen to feedback
