In the heart of Hounslow, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is on the hunt for an English Teacher to be Deputy SENCo this September. This is a permanent, full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious English Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding English department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school has recently opened a specialist and state-of-the-art resource provision for children with Autism and is looking for a Deputy SENCo who can help run this provision and teach English to the students in the provision.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Working alongside a team of fantastic Teachers
  • September 2026 - Full Time & Permanent
  • MPS3-UPS3 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
  • Located in the Borough of Hounslow

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
  • Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
  • Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
  • You must be able to work as part of a large team of Teachers
  • Must be willing to listen to feedback
