A 'Good' graded Community Primary School in Waltham Forest is seeking a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join their team and support the youngest students in starting their education journeys. This is a Long-Term, Full-Time position for an ASAP start.
This 4 Form Entry School prides itself on creating a friendly and inclusive environment for all students, working alongside members of the local community to foster positive relationships. Students are exceeding the national average for students meeting expected standing in RWM, with 18% of students exceeding their expected compared to 8% nationally. Within this Level 3 EYFS Practitioner role, you will be working with various children across the school. This is a non-classroom-based position with no teaching. As a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner, previous experience and sufficient knowledge of SEND are necessary for this position due to the role involving working with students with a variety of additional needs.
Job Description:
- Supporting a variety of students within Reception with their academic, personal and social development daily
- Working with students with diagnosed and suspected SEND including ASD, ADHD, PMLD and Speech and Language difficulties
- Collaborating with specialist learning teachers and the Assistant Head Teacher in charge of inclusion
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
