EdEx are currently working with a long-standing client primary school in the Borough of Tower Hamlets, to find a vibrant and engaging Teaching Assistant to join their team! This diverse primary school is currently looking for a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to support pupils within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and KS1, as well as pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs).

Within your role as a Creative Teaching Assistant, you will provide general support to pupils with their education as well as targeted 1:1 support to pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay, and Down Syndrome. You will also assist with the management of the class, carry out interventions, and deliver programmes tailored to children’s needs.

Creative Teaching Assistant - Role:

  • Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN & behavioural requirements
  • Work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions
  • Use your creativity and compassion to excite and educate the pupils
  • Strong inclusion team to support you and the pupils

Ideal Creative Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience working with children
  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities!
