An "Outstanding" Secondary School in Southwark is on the hunt for a Lead Practitioner of Chemistry for a September 2026 start. This is a full-time, and permanent position.
What will the role of Lead Practitioner of Chemistry entail?
- Raising attainment, and quality of learning across KS3-KS4 - KS5 is an additional option
- Working alongside a very STRONG Head of Department
- Leading from the front, oozing passion & enthusiasm towards Chemistry!
The Head Teacher is keen to find an enthusiast who can take the Schools Chemistry curriculum & department to the next level. You'll be given full support from SLT while the freedom to make changes where needed.
You'll be joining a School with a HUGE list of achievements over the past 10 years, while being surrounded by peers who generally want to make a difference daily. There's no pointless / outdated teaching or marking methods - EVERYTHING makes sense.
