On an 'Outstanding' and supportive secondary school in the Borough of Hounslow we are looking for a Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT – History, RE & Geography for a September start. This is a full‑time and permanent post.

Job Description:

  • Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT – History, RE & Geography – KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
  • Working alongside a team of experienced Humanities teachers
  • TLR opportunities: KS3 & KS4 Coordinator and pastoral responsibilities
  • ECTs welcome: 1:1 mentor, bespoke ECT induction, in‑house training and more
  • September 2026 – full time & permanent
  • MPS1‑UPS3 + TLR (size depending on experience)
  • Location: Borough of Hounslow

Person Specification:

  • Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
  • Strong academics across the board – degree, A levels and GCSEs
  • Must be meeting the 8 teaching standards to a good or outstanding level
  • Able to work as part of a large team of Humanities teachers
  • Willing to listen to feedback
