On an 'Outstanding' and supportive secondary school in the Borough of Hounslow we are looking for a Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT – History, RE & Geography for a September start. This is a full‑time and permanent post.
Job Description:
- Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT – History, RE & Geography – KS3, KS4 & KS5
- Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
- Working alongside a team of experienced Humanities teachers
- TLR opportunities: KS3 & KS4 Coordinator and pastoral responsibilities
- ECTs welcome: 1:1 mentor, bespoke ECT induction, in‑house training and more
- September 2026 – full time & permanent
- MPS1‑UPS3 + TLR (size depending on experience)
- Location: Borough of Hounslow
Person Specification:
- Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
- Strong academics across the board – degree, A levels and GCSEs
- Must be meeting the 8 teaching standards to a good or outstanding level
- Able to work as part of a large team of Humanities teachers
- Willing to listen to feedback
