This permanent, school-based contract offers potential TLR opportunities for ambitious or experienced teachers. The Head of Humanities is looking for an ambitious History Teacher with a hard-working attitude who can contribute to the running of the Humanities department with their ideas and own research.

Responsibilities
- Inspire and motivate students across Key Stages
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to a diverse cohort of about 1,000 students
- Work alongside a team of teachers, Head of Department, and support staff
- Contribute to the running of the Humanities department through ideas and own research
- Maintain high standards of student behaviour and progression
- Participate in professional learning and collaborative meetings
Person Specification
- UK QTS or in the process of gaining QTS
- Strong academic qualifications (Degree, A Levels, GCSEs)
- Achievement of the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
- Excellent subject knowledge of History
- Willingness to listen to and act on feedback
