Economics Teacher / Economics ECT | September 2025 | Permanent | Westminster

An "Outstanding" Secondary School in the Borough of Westminster on the hunt for an Economics Teacher / Economics ECT for a September 2025 start. This is also a full-time and permanent position.

The ideal candidate would be an Economics Teacher / Economics ECT who can also teach Maths – This can be to a KS3 level. You will be mentored by the Schools Head Teacher in Economics if you've just qualified as an Economics ECT – Whereas if you're an experienced Economics Teacher you will lead the subject solely.

  • Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
  • TLR Opportunities: KS5 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
  • ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more
  • September 2025 – Full Time & Permanent
  • MPS1-UPS3 – £39,571 – £76,135 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
  • Located in the Borough of Westminster

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
  • Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
  • Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
  • Must be willing to listen to feedback
