In the heart of Croydon, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is on the hunt for an English Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract.
The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious English Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding English department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects. The school is well invested in the Education sector, setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!
Experienced Teachers of English can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility, 2iC, HOD and more. Early Career Teachers of English (ECT) will be enrolled onto the school's bespoke ECT induction and will work alongside a range of young and experienced teachers.

- Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
- You must be able to work as part of a large team of Teachers

- Graded 'Outstanding' in latest Ofsted report
- Impressive Progress 8 results
