As an Exams Officer, you will assist the Deputy Headteacher (Assessment, Recording and Reporting) and Data Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing, maintaining and developing efficient and effective school data processes and systems.
- Running each academic and pastoral reporting session, including setting up a mechanism for data collection, printing and distributing reports, and analysing Internal Exams and Key Stage Results.
- Undertaking specific, advanced data analysis for various interested parties, including vulnerable group progress tracking and school-focused progress tracking analysis.
- Assisting with SIMS database tasks such as new student admissions, amended student timetables, and changing student records.
- Completing, reconciling and submitting the School Censuses.
- Ensuring and maintaining all administrative and organisational aspects of the examination and assessment system, including exam season preparation, data collection for registration and entry, and liaising with course leaders.
- Managing entry documentation and timetable issues to candidates.
- Identifying and resolving exam clashes.
- Processing results and issuing them to candidates.
- Coordinating applications for access arrangements and managing the exams budget.
- Maintaining day-to-day contact with the Awarding Bodies.
- Drawing up exam timetables for SATS and internal examinations.
- Managing post-results services and malpractice procedures.
- Ensuring appropriate circulation of incoming information and logging important communications.
- Managing assessment and target setting data of all students and analysing data alongside the Deputy Headteacher.

Person Specification:
- Exceptional organisational skills and time management.
- Ideally previous experience within the role in a school or FE environment (not essential).
