A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Westminster are looking for a School Librarian for a September 2025 start. This is a School based contract, directly employed via the School.

What will this School Librarian position involve?

• Managing the school library and promoting a love of reading across all year groups

• Supporting students with research, literacy skills, and independent learning

• Organising and running reading groups, author visits, and literacy events

• Maintaining library resources, including cataloguing and stock management

• Collaborating with teaching staff to support the curriculum through library services

• Managing day-to-day library operations and resources

• Supporting student reading development and independent study

• Running literacy initiatives and events to engage students

• £24,000 – £29,000 per annum – Permanent Contract (Salary based on experience)

• September 2025 Start – Term Time Only – Full Time

• Based in the London Borough of Westminster

• Previous experience working in a library or education setting preferred

• A strong passion for literacy and supporting young people's learning

• Well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
