Experienced Teaching Assistant | Full-Time & Long-Term | Supportive School
EdEx are working with one of our long-standing client schools in the borough of Richmond to find an Experienced Teaching Assistant, to support children with their reading, writing and various learning activities, inside and outside of the classroom.
Our client primary school in Richmond are a mainstream school, graded Outstanding via Ofsted, with a large support staff team, most of which have been at the school for 3 or more years, a testament to the culture at the school. Pupils are happy, staff are looked after and parents/families speak highly of the school.
We are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to join the school starting ASAP. Working Monday-Friday, school hours on a long-term basis, i.e. starting ASAP and being with the school at least until the end of the current academic year (July 2026).
The school have had two Teaching Assistants relocate, meaning they have 2 Teaching Assistant vacancies, which very rarely come up!

- Paid weekly, daily rate of Β£105 β Β£110 per day β experience dependant
- Long term contract β at least for an academic year β ASAP β July 26 (scope for a permanent contract if interested from Sept 26)
- Located in Richmond

- Plenty of CPD, training and support from SLT and external training providers (school is well-funded not in a big deficit)
- Start ASAP β guaranteed to work at one school, long-term, no daily cover roles bouncing between schools
- Provide support to pupils across EYFS & KS1 & KS2
- Work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions
