We are now recruiting a Technical Business Analyst, to join our Product team, working within our Processing Domain, in an exciting, fast-moving, and rewarding environment, within Edenred PayTech. Our Technical Business Analysts collaborate closely with software development teams and the Product Function. In this role, you'll work alongside Engineering, Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and business stakeholders to fully understand business needs, conduct GAP analyses, and support both functional and non-functional requirements for development and QA teams.
A background within the Payments, Banking, or Fintech industry would be highly advantageous, and coming from a technical background (QA, Development, IT Operations) would also lend itself well, as you will be working within highly technical environments.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders to analyse new features and fixing or optimising existing elements.
- Understand business cases and be able to arbitrate between requests, challenging requests where appropriate with relevant data.
- Assisting Product Managers in prioritizing of workstreams.
- Analyse and capture both internal and external requirements and document them in a clear and concise manner.
- Propose and agree solutions based on best practice and adhering to the rules and regulations of all countries involved.
- Evaluating business and technical solution proposals and designs to ensure they meet the business requirements.
- Identify the potential impacts of changes to the existing systems, organisation, partners and clients.
- Employ structured business analysis techniques when problem-solving and eliciting requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and product walkthroughs with Clients and Business stakeholders.
- Refining user stories with the Product Manager, Business stakeholders, engineering, and wider Business Analyst team.
- Produce supporting documentation around processes, static content to support API/Integration documentation, internal or external as required.
- Collaborating with IT development team both onshore and offshore to maximise value of end products, features and solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and current stakeholders across the organisation, IT Development and 3rd Parties.

Advantageous skills include:
- SQL to retrieve data from databases.
- Fundamentals of software development lifecycles.
- Experience in the payments, banking or financial services.
- Story writing in BDD.
- Experience working within an agile environment.
- System integration concepts such as REST APIs, webhooks etc.
- Project tools like JIRA, visualisation tools like PowerPoint, Visio or similar.
