Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Project Management Team Manager to lead a team of internal project managers and deliver strategic projects within our PayTech Market Delivery Success department. The successful candidate will drive project portfolio management, optimise resource allocation, and ensure alignment with our 3-year strategic plan. You will play a critical role in shaping project methodologies and fostering continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of internal project managers, promoting high performance and collaboration
- Oversee the delivery of complex, high-impact internal projects end-to-end
- Manage project status reporting, governance, and stakeholder communication
- Handle change requests and scope management effectively
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement in project management methodologies, tools, and training
- Coordinate with multiple internal teams and external third parties in a regulated environment
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong project management experience, with time spent in a leadership role
- Proven leadership skills with strong people management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Experience working in fast-paced, Agile environments with multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with project management tools, templates, and best practices
- Fluent in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese) are a plus
- Comfortable working in technology-driven and regulated sectors
Desirable:
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, PROSCI, or MoR
- Experience managing payment programs and regulatory frameworks is an advantage
