Objective of the Function/role: The Paytech Nexus platform is the core processing platform for the Edenred group and processes over 1.5 billion transactions per year, in 30+ countries, over many different channels including open-loop card schemes, 80+ closed-loop card schemes, various funding channels and UK & SEPA bank payment rails. This capability is utilised by a diverse portfolio of financial programmes including fintech challenger banks, travel products, fuel products, employee benefits and retail gifting. Paytech issues products for its agents under Paytech's own e-money licence, overseen by the UK & Belgium regulators. Paytech also processes transactions for clients who have their own e-money/banking licence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced process driven individual to join the 'Portfolio Tools & Process team' who are responsible for deploying tools and processes across Paytech to support PayTech's portfolio delivery. This involves over 300 people in Market Success Delivery, Product & Technology departments. This role presents an opportunity to be part of a fast-moving environment where you will be contributing to the team's key objectives which include:
- Providing financial metrics and breakdown to provide financial insights
- Providing a single reference point for all employees for the end-to-end portfolio delivery process
- Administrating and maintaining the tooling to maximise benefits for Paytech.
- Providing KPIs on portfolio delivery to provide business insights aligned to the strategic goals
- Enabling Paytech to run an efficient, standardised delivery process, utilising tooling for the business to make informed decisions
- Accountable to Portfolio Tools & Process Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Process: Support Process Implementation and Control: Assist in the implementation and oversight of portfolio delivery processes to ensure effective execution.
- Run Review Meetings: Run the regular review meetings, preparing the data, communicating with participants, and ensuring the process is adhered to.
- Facilitate and Support: Facilitate and support quarterly planning activities adopting a continuous improvement approach to participation, process and data.
- Monitor User Adherence: Manage the monitoring and measurement of user compliance with established processes.
- Facilitate Stakeholder Workshops/Meetings: Enable the process owner to conduct stakeholder workshops by gathering relevant data in advance and supporting by compiling findings for analysis post-workshop/meeting.
- Quality Assurance: Proactively highlight potential defects in portfolio delivery processes, ensuring that improvements are addressed promptly.
- Encourage Innovation: Share ideas and potential improvements, no matter how small, to foster innovation and help achieve business objectives.
Tools:
- Process Implementation: Implement & advise on portfolio delivery processes set up in tools (e.g. JIRA, Tempo).
- Configuration Changes: Implementation of portfolio delivery tool configuration changes.
- Monitor & Maintain: Monitor and maintain processes that rely on tools for implementation and execution providing tool configuration changes, as required.
- Process Run: Carry out operational running updates to JIRA, Tempo and other tools that support Paytech portfolio delivery.
- Management of Change: Document, educate & train: Contribute to documentation and training materials for users of the portfolio delivery model, processes and tools to ensure the information is easily found, referenced and distributed.
- Train users: Deliver training and hold Q&A surgeries for new users of a process or tool, and the rollout of new processes, to support portfolio delivery.
- Organise change surgeries: Organise regular change surgeries where ideas can be shared, and potential changes can be discussed to enable efficient management of change.
- Inform Users: Inform users of changes to the current portfolio delivery tools and processes, facilitating their understanding and ensuring adoption/corrective action is taken where required.
Control:
- Monitor & Ensure Data Quality: Maintain high standards of accurate data quality, identifying issues in data quality and proactively ensuring corrective action is taken.
- Measure & Monitor: Carry out measuring and monitoring activities, as well as provision of feedback on performance of portfolio delivery processes to ensure quality, efficiency of processes, and inform ongoing improvements.
- Troubleshoot and Optimise Processes: Support users encountering issues with new processes and tools to ensure adherence to the processes and gather feedback for ongoing improvements.
- Support strategic decision making: Responsible for monitoring metrics and tracking of KPIs.

Core skills & behaviours:
- Education: Graduate, or equivalent experience
- Professional Experience: Experience of managing multiple stakeholders towards a common goal would be beneficial
- Understanding of Change Management is desirable
- Relevant experience in a process orientated role, or involvement in improvement initiatives with measurable results would be desirable
- An understanding of project management and agile portfolio delivery methodologies would be beneficial
- Experienced at preparing training materials and deliver of training would be beneficial
Technical skills:
- An analytical ability to recognise behaviour, and data patterns, is essential
- Familiar with JIRA, Confluence and reporting tools as a user is beneficial
- Experienced JIRA administrator/user is desirable
- Understanding of Reporting tools and business KPIs would be beneficial
- A good knowledge and use of Microsoft suite with ability to prepare and deliver presentations
