Objection of the function/role

The Paytech Nexus platform is the core processing platform for the Edenred group and processes over 1.5 billion transactions per year, in 30+ countries, over many different channels including open-loop card schemes, 80+ closed-loop card schemes, various funding channels and UK & SEPA bank payment rails.

This capability is utilised by a diverse portfolio of financial programmes including fintech challenger banks, travel products, fuel products, employee benefits and retail gifting.

Paytech issue products for its agents under Paytech’s own e-money licence, overseen by the UK & Belgium regulators. PayTech also process transactions for clients who have their own e-money/banking licence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced process driven individual to join the ‘Portfolio Tools & Process team’ who are responsible for deploying tools and processes across Paytech to support Paytech’s portfolio delivery. This involves over 300 people in Market Success Delivery, Product & Technology departments.

This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-moving environment where the team’s key objectives include:

  • Providing the financial metrics and breakdown to provide business insights in terms of total costs, OPEX/CAPEX breakdown.
  • Responsible for formalising and a single reference point for all employees for the end-to-end delivery process
  • Administrating and maintaining the tooling to maximise benefits for Paytech.
  • Providing KPIs on portfolio delivery to complement Linear B’s tool on tech delivery metrics, including capacity.
  • The outcome of all these points is to enable Paytech to run an efficient, standardised delivery process, utilising tooling for the business to make better informed decisions, when prioritising strategic projects.

  • Key Responsibilities

    Process:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage, and maintain strong working relationships, with stakeholders to gain insights and drive continuous improvement in the portfolio delivery process methodology.
  • End-to-End Oversight: Oversee the design and execution of portfolio delivery processes from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Process Evaluation and Design: Standardise, evaluate, design, implement, control, monitor, and measure portfolio delivery processes to ensure they meet organizational standards and strategic objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Identify and eliminate defects in portfolio delivery processes.
  • Innovative Solutions: Foster innovation while minimizing disruption to existing processes, ensuring a seamless transition to new processes.
  • Tools:

  • Process Implementation: Implement portfolio delivery processes set up in portfolio delivery tools (e.g. JIRA, JIRA Align, Tempo)
  • Configuration Changes: Support implementation of portfolio delivery tool configuration changes
  • Management of Change:

  • Document, educate & train: Create comprehensive documentation and training materials for users of the portfolio delivery model, processes and tools to ensure the information is easily found and referenced.
  • Facilitate process rollout: Lead the rollout of new and updated processes, ensuring efficient implementation and adoption of changes within the organization.
  • Communicate Process & Tool Changes: Inform and train users of the portfolio delivery model about any new processes, or changed processes, facilitating their understanding and ensuring adoption.
  • Share Innovations and Updates: Effectively communicate new ideas and process changes to impacted teams, fostering collaboration and alignment across the organization.
  • Control:

  • Evaluate Post-Implementation Benefits: Monitor and assess the benefits of processes after implementation to ensure quality, efficiency, and ongoing improvement.
  • Enhance Delivery Capabilities : Provide key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics to offer insights into the delivery process, identifying opportunities for enhancement and developing actionable plans with clear improvement goals.
  • Troubleshoot and Optimise Processes: Identify and resolve issues in both current and new processes to drive improvements.
  • Support strategic decision making: Responsible for providing metrics and tracking of KPIs to inform strategic decision making.

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Professional Experience:

  • Relevant experience in a process orientated role, or involvement in improvement initiatives with measurable results
  • Experience of managing multiple stakeholders towards a common goal
  • Experience of implementing and designing, manging and implementing multiple processes simultaneously
  • Experience and knowledge of Change Management
  • An understanding of implementing agile portfolio delivery methodology for ambitious organisations like Paytech would be beneficial
  • Experience of metrics and measures for tracking of KPIs to inform strategic decision making
  • Technical skills:

  • Experienced JIRA administrator/user would be beneficial
  • Experienced JIRA Align administrator/user would be beneficial
  • Understanding of Reporting tools and business KPIs would be beneficial
  • Strong analytical ability to draw correct conclusions based on data collated
