We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Junior HR Business Partner to join our HR team, supporting colleagues and managers across our Swindon and London offices. About the role
As Junior HR Business Partner, you will provide operational and strategic HR support across a range of people matters. You will partner with managers, support employee relations activity, contribute to HR projects, and help drive a high-performing and inclusive culture. This role offers a blend of business partnering, advisory support, and project work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build strong generalist HR experience in a commercial environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with managers across the business to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support
- Advise on employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinaries, grievances, and capability
- Support organisational change activity, restructures, and workforce planning where required
- Work with managers to support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement
- Contribute to the delivery of HR initiatives, policies, and projects aligned to business goals
- Use HR data and insights to identify trends and support decision-making
- Support the annual HR cycle, including performance reviews, salary reviews, and people planning
- Promote best practice and ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across both Swindon and London offices
About you
We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, people-focused, and eager to develop their HR business partnering career.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, Junior HRBP, or similar generalist HR role
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing employee relations cases with confidence and professionalism
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to influence and challenge constructively
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
- Experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment
- CIPD qualification or working towards it would be advantageous
