As a Frontline Technical Support Engineer, you'll be the first responder when systems blink, alerts fire, or incidents arise. Whether you're diving into logs, restoring services, or preventing outages before they happen - you're not just supporting tech, you're keeping businesses running.
What you'll do:
- Take immediate action on system alerts and support tickets to minimise downtime
- Implement system changes safely within strict change controls
- Lead or support Major Incident Management - including incident coordination and comms
- Investigate root causes, spot trends, and recommend service improvements
- Keep accurate records and audit trails using ticketing tools
- Proactively monitor system health and performance
- Share knowledge and help upskill your team
What you'll bring:
Must-haves:
- A problem-solver's mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Proficiency in SQL (complex queries) and/or Unix (command-line competence)
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Fluent in English with solid Microsoft Office skills
